Hi all
I have been looking around for my first 180 and am seriously considering a '95 model.
around 70000 KM.
Pretty good condition - clean unworn interior and exterior.
Stock except for a 3 " exaust.
1yr rego
$15 000

I have seen heaps of 180 's cheaper but they are all older and moded up versions. The prices in the Trading Post etc seem to vary heaps. I dunno if 15K paying to much for this car. Is a 92' -93' model pretty much the same- cause they are heaps cheaper.
BTW the guy who was selling it to me says the Black Top engine is better quality and gives an extra 10KW compared to earlier Red Top- but I haven't really read anything that backs it up.

I am a bit of newbie - any info much apreciated

dude a black top and red top engine are essentially the same. there is no poer difference, its simply colour change from 94 onwards. with that in mind the blacktop would be a newer engine, and assuming its been looked after will still have good compression.

um but yeah sounds like a good deal, if its Black and ur not interested let me know!

Sounds like a nice car, has it got log books to prove it has only travelled 70,000 km's? - that sounds extremely low for the cars age.

Im no 180 price expert though, I guess you have been looking around for awhile so you should be able to judge that for yourself.

70,000 is about right for a car in japan of its age i think.

Think of the size of the island to the size of australia.

Not all cars are round back. also some of the cars have digital odometers which make it harder to change.

guys kilometres only indicate a small thing ..
you still have to check the mechanical internals to be sure whenevr your buying a 2nd hand car.

think about this :
70,000km .. every single one of those km's was spent as a drift pig and beaten up around every corner. never warmed up and always on full boost.

and then theres a 185,000 highway km's ..

you tell me which one u'd prefer.
