I'm thinking about getting an intercooler soonish, don't have tonns of money, anyone know decent coolers for decent prices? I've heard that hybrid is pretty shit, is this true?

Welcome 180sx owner.

You can get the big coolers 600*300*75 in decent quality for $420, then you'll need piping for it.

There's afew in the for sale and trade section at the moment.

They have gone down in price heaps - due to competition I think.

Or you can get the whole Apexi GT spec kit (with piping) for $1600, a good trust kit for around $1300.

Something to think about if you like coolers flashy and from a reputable company.

Nothing wrong with Hybrid though, but I'd be more inclined to spend a few extra hundreds and get a top name brand cooler with piping done perfect.

someone (on the forums) was selling an ARC cooler that fitted into the stock position, and it was going for hell cheap i thought, $300 bucks if i recall.

i'm using a vr4 intercooler off a mitsu galant. Works great and i believe they are really cheap if you can find one. I'm probably running around 170-180rwkw and it always stays cold as ice...does the job nicely, and to a budget.

i think u will find the piping more expensive than the cooler.....

anyone know of a place that does cheap piping??
