Hey guys/gals,

In a bother here, just moved to NSW and my car is still rego'd vic. Trying (bloody hard) to get a blue slip so i can have it rego'd here. Took it to a local mechanic and he wrote up a list of things to be engineered...grrr

Anyways took that list to another mechanic and he's like the only thing i could see wrong was the POD FILTER !! Now he says if i have it full enclosed it should be all good to pass. :o

Now for my question: Does anybody know how to get/create a heat shield/enclosure for my pod filter so i can have my car finally ready for blue slip !?! :-?

No wonder i see so many vic/qld plates here !!

Yeah they would be awesome if i lived around Sydney, seeing as they won't do anything without a face to face visit. I live in Coffs which makes it difficult !

Thanks anyways :)

1) Go to bunnings and get a sheet of thin aluminium.
2) Make a cardboard template of a box to cover your pod. It doesn't need to be too fancy, as long as your pod is covered.
3) Cut that out of aluminium and rivet it together.
4) Install.
5) ???
6) Profit.

Otherwise you can probably buy a standard airbox to put in.
