does anyone know where i can get checkerplate floor mats made up for my s15 drivers and passenger side floors as the factory mats are pretty much worn out , does anyone also know how these are fixed down in place i have been to obriens aluminium but they dont seem to know very much about this apart from telling me to bring in a template and they will make them up but cant tell me how to install them after, so i am thinking there maybe someone who specialises in making theses for particular cars for show etc

thanks

I just got a plate and attached it to the standard mats, does the job.
You can get Apexi ones and pay heaps or do what I did and paid $10 for ones from the Markets.

go to aluminium distributor (phone book)
buy 2.5mm aluminium checker plate ($30 should be enough)
cut out shape with jigsaw fitted with aluminium blade ($2)
rivett in place.

Damn those are nice like that! I wanted to do something about all the dirt and grass on my carpet but didnt want those huge slabs of checkerplate like the ricers. I might have to steal your idea MYS15T....:P

I got to say yes when wet it is a tad annoying but, it could be worse.
For some reason I just cant seem to get good pedal feeling with my work shoes, so I always have a set of old joggers that I swap before I drive.
I know it is a big length to go to, but I really find it difficult to drive with my work shoes.

Thanks Ace 8) You might be intrested to know I picked up my 18" ROH Adrenalin's just yesterday, that was after nearly 10 weeks wait for delivery.

As I said you can pick up a set of these plates from Croyden and they are genuine Apexi, but why bother they all do the same job.
