FITTED AND TUNED $1250.. In Canberra!?!?
I'm pretty sure u can get it installed & tuned for around the $650 mark..
I'm currently getting mine done at Unigroup.. Good thing is that they have their own dyno.. They're in the Western Suburbs...

Yeah is that for the SAFC or the Power FC. :-?
Check this link

If you want boost controller and hand held controller it gets pretty pricey.

really all i want to do is retune the engine once on a dyno then not touch it

so just the computer and a boost controller, not worried about the hand held computer

there's a better interface thing in this month's hpi anyway, for the power fc :)

is a s-afc and a boost controller going to be enough ?

I don't really want to fork for an avc-r, when you can get boost controllers for $3-400

about $1k for a s-afc and a boost controller I think, plus $4-500 tuning maybe

or $1900 for a fitted unichip tuned

:\

From what you say you need I would say go the Unichip.
I dont know what I am doing with car tuning so I dont need a hand held controller in the cabin.
The unichip is fairly under rated, it acomadates bigger turbo, extra injectors, plus a shit load more options.
But $1900 is a bit on the expensive side.
The APS JR-1 Kit has the unichip + boost control module and full 3" exhaust including dump pipe.
I got it in stages and paid $1500 for the unichip with boost control module and dyno tuned. $2200 for the exhaust.
Have a look here for more details. http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/200sx/unichip.htm

Or you can have a look at my website for more details.

Ring C&V and ask them how much, Con really know how to tune Unichips, I know it is fairy way out from where you are but he should be able to do while you wait. My car took about 4 hours, drove in with 120rwkw and drove out with 140rwkw.

The impressive thing about that price is that it's a full stainless system with a dual dump pipe!

What engine management do you have??
Dum already told me you go the exhaust, thats why I mentioned you can get the unichip and boost controller seperate, I was just pointing out the price I paid.

Wow one week your car was totaly stock apart from some rubber then you go and do all that, what made you snap? 8)

A matter of waiting for delivery of parts ! :)

Seriously, dunno, just wanted more power...... damn turbo bug

I'm going to talk to Ming in Canberra about a unichip setup, probably Autotech too. The going rate is about $1900 tuned here so I might end up going to sydney for it, I'm up there often enough anyway :D. I want to look at the TSI(?) option too, someone I know here recommended it.

The engine management + intercooler is what I'm looking at doing next, sorry for the vague posting....

Just a matter of paying off my new notebook (yay) and the tax man (booo hiss). Then, more mods !

It wasn't TOTALY stock, it had a JVC mp3 head unit and an apex'i turbo timer / air fuel meter thingy. ;)
