Chrome is not only illegal but looks wierd on most cards.

Normal dark tint on a dark car looks good :)

I have a chrome tint strip that fades to black tint on my front windscreen. It does look a little weird, but I dont care really. I wouldnt get it done to the whole car though.

Does anyone have any pics or links to websites which show chrome tint?
And does anyone have any specs regarding how much you can tint your windows by, what sort etc from the rta?

Ive got a few pics of my car with the chrome strip- however its so reflective it comes out black on camera. Regular tint is legal to 35%, that is 35% of outside light getting though. Oh and you're not allowed to tint the front windscreen.

As far as the percentage goes, I wouldve liked 20% on the rear, its a bit darker, but you cant really tell the difference that much between the 35%. Like most mods, it will prolly depend on the officer whether it passes a defect station or not...

Its called mirror tint, and it has become really popular, I can believe you have not seen it around??
Every 4WD Surf import has the rear windows in a brown mirror tint.
