isnt shell optimax crap anyway? i heard bad things like it isnt even 98 ron more so 96-94....

bp ultimate is guaranteed to be 98 ron fuel, otherwise you can sue the fuckers for false advertising

those coles dockets dont make a difference to me, 4 bucks saving big whoop i could of bought a big mac

I found that BP Ultimate made my car run much smoother than Optimax.

Weird, we went without Optimax for about three days max, been plenty since then. And that quote posted said there was none in ACT. Don't really like paying $1.15 for it though, the Coles receipts help though :p
That reminds me ...must go to Coles, I need cheese. Bye guys.

Vortex is 98 RON, im with the Professor dum. Filled a tank today with the stuff, car felt good and strong with it in the tank.

Perhaps the shortage in Shell optimax stems from the news i heard that shell were having trouble maintaining their 98RON fuel value. It makes some sense to me.

Ah none in Raymond Terrace, hasn't cost me that much to fill my car yet.....wel not quite, getting there :(.
My car doesn't really seem to care what it runs on, had Optimax, Vortex 96 and everyday Premium in it recently....just plugs on the same regardless.

Not all Vortex is 98.
Go on caltex.com.au and click find a servo.
Then select NSW and Vortex 98:
There only 13 in Sydney atm, and most are in the preppy northern burbs
The closest ones for us westies is the M4 ones, both of them.

you could.

If it's tuned for 98 octane fuel you should really stick to 98 octane, unless you're going to drive around mega slow :)
