I wonna know if its possible to twin turbo a CA18DET. if so, how much would it cost, who would do it and also your views on it!!!! :o

I am pretty sure it would be possible...

But i dont know how effective it would be cause the motor couldn't handle that much power without some serious strengthening...

i must admit ive though about TT on an SR.

it would have all the advantages of any TT system but it would cost alot. management, manifolds, piping etc.

but you wouldnt necessarily need strengthening, if you used small turbos running the same boost except sequentially so the power is smooth

more thoughts? :-?

your going to have to get the right sized turbo's fopr the engine, that may be difficult, then worry about all the pipes and the manifolds.

but it sure would be cool tho...an SR20DETT or CA18DETT :o :)

specifically, what let it down? or was it just too much work considering you can just go with a single big A/R matched turbo
