hey guys, just a general question i know that all s13's have lsd but i've been arguing with a mate of mine and he says that none of the s13s came out with lsd??

anyone wanna fill me in does s13s have lsd or not?? cause i have a Sil80
thought that i had a lsd, but friend of mine is trying to tell me otherwise

the turbos all came with an LSD, and the n/a cars had it available as an option.

yup both manual turbo and auto came with lsd
but in the auto the diff ratio is diffrent

ive heard that the auto sr20det diffs are good for
drifting etc cus of the ratios.

SR20DET auto diffs are 4.3:1 ratio and the manual ones are 4.1:1 or 3.9:1

you cant tell by looking at them you have to count the number of revolutions of the input to the output shafts

ah okay, i had a quick search on it on the web and didnt find much, just that Q's was optional and all K's have it, but I have an A's :oops: me confused....i thought the LSD has those fins on it :wink:

What the hell is an A's? Basically K's = turbo, Q's = non-turbo. If yours is a factory turbo then I assume it is classified as a K's.
