Hey Guys!..It's been a while.

I just picked up the latest copy of High Performance Imports mag and i carried out the Japanese favourite "Lazy Eye" headlight conversion which they showed how to do.
It was too easy! It cost $10 and about half an hour of my time.Looks wicked too.I highly recommend 180 owners performing this mod.It gives a way more aggressive look. :D

So how does the actual operation of that system work?

Do you have to use the switch to position them every time after you turn off the headlights?

i think ill just buy the mag. i was going to be tight and ask for a scanned version :)

RPS13X might want the kit made up. has anyone made it yet?

The switch just intercepts the wire that controls the headlight motor. You then turn the headlights on and off, then you have about 5 seconds to toggle the lights to the desired hight. You don't need the switch to operate the lights as normal.

All you need for the kit is the momentary switch, some wire and some wire connectors.

I don't think you've answerd my question....

Does this have to be done verytime after you use the lights? Or is it set it once and it automatically goes to that position everytime after?

Yeah, they have to re-positioned after every time you use the lights. There is no height "memory".

After all it's just a BUDGET way of getting the look. The aftermarket kits from Japan probably have more features.

For sure you can't beat value for money here.

Jap ones are very overpriced that's for sure.

l6a6w6s6,

I will draw you the diagram tonight.

There are two switches, the second switch locks the light in place even if you turn your lights on and off. The only problem is when it gets dark you must open the headlight fully and thus lose the previous setting.

So, it won't lose the setting if you don't want it to move at all, but if you want it to open all the way then go back down to it's preset position then no, it can't do that.

Hope this clears it up for you.

No need to draw diagrams I've got the mag but I found they didn't explain the function well. That was been cleared up now though.

There is no way of doing it without pulling out your engine management system.Pretty difficult to un bolt if your car is 12 years old and still has the stocker in place! :x

Sideways180: you live in a high salt environment near the beach maybe this is why your bolts are so hard to undo ;/

OK.

If someone could please edit this and save it in a JPEG format so everyone can see it, I couldn't for the life of me work out how to do it, it would just come up black.
