Can anyone recommend a fairly middle of the range adjustable castor rod , mine as appears common have leaking bushes on the factory rods , what are the justjap rods like? i want something that is half decent. cheers. |

I wouldnt go anything cheap, and I wouldnt go anything second hand. Either pay the $300-350 for brand new name brand items, or get new urethane bushes put in your rods. Old or cheap rosejoints will make your car get intimate with a wall or tree. |

I'm running the just jap rods in both my stagea and my girlfriend's S14 and I've not had any issues with them. the ones in the wagon are several months old now,and are as good as when I bought them. I bought them with the expectation that they'd last for a year or so,and then I'd be changing the joints. if you take a similar approach,you won't likely be disappointed. I've also used urethane bush replacements in the past,and they are very good value for the $100 or so they cost. they last forever,give you a small improvement in steering response and feel over the std rubber bushes,and if you buy the offset version,a small amount of added caster. my Gf's S14 now has 9deg. of positive caster with the just jap rods,and my wagon has a similar amount. that and the feel improvement alone made them worthwhile to me,even if they need to be changed yearly. I would go for the JuatJap or the D-Project rods, as they seem to be quality products and for the price is also a bonus... |

i spent the money on kazaama castor arms. they were perfect for 3 years, started gettting a little rattly towards the end when i sold the car. not bad for around 60,000ks of sydney roads |

i found the same thing. barely scrubbed with around 9-9.5degrees castor with 17" rims |
