i looked at this car yesterday, have you looked at it?
got a bit of damage on the front quarters, and the front bar has been put on a bit dodgy.
and its got no indicators in the front
engine bay is a bit dirty and is still the original colour,
i wouldnt recomend a fast car for ur first car.
im thinking about buying it but would only consider it for about $14ish as the body condition
if u want any more info on it pm me

My advice? My advice is to be friggin realistic..... It's your first car kiddo, you can not drive a performance car. A higly modified 180sx pushing what, 160rwkw?? You'll never be able to afford insurance, you'll make all of our premiums go up when you crash, plus you'll waste 16grand.
Buy a pulsar (n14 sss are a good first car) or a 4age corolla or something similar. Hell, a non turbo silvia, then drop in a turbo motore when you cna drive in a few years time :)

the jap spec s15 engine sounds damn tempting

nissanpower - yeah he wouldnt give me engine number of vin number at first big ordeal to get those, only wanted em to get a quote for insurance and do a revs check
im a bit worried about buying it

My apologies Hiko, on other forums I'm on you get these kind of threads from 17 year olds wanting to be cool :P If you have never owned a car before though insurance will still be tough. First car, never insured, plus turbo with engine swap and being 21 ;)

After reading freestylers's last post about the engine number, and everyone else saying how we won't give info, won't do a compression test, etc, my advice to EVERYONE would be to stay well away from it. As tempting as it sounds, if he's acting like that it can only spell trouble.

the car is not under his name, wouldnt show u engineers documents before purchase wouldnt show you the engineen model,
makes up excusses over and over again, and it seems like hes only available after 10pm so wouldnt go alone :\
wouldnt recommend anyone buying it off him even though the car is hot

i just purchased a s13 for cheaper that does wat i want (for the time being)

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales ... istance=25

that car is under his sister's name cos it's his sister's car. she bought it cos her ex-bf drove a 300kw GTR. he didnt do any of the mods to the car, infact he bought the car off this forum http://forum.silviansw.com/viewtopic.php?t=2994

if it's dodgy, it's not him, go and chase up Darryl. the car needs a proper tune, and he doesnt drive the car much at all, mainly leaves it at home cos it needs a tune, and he cant afford it. he recently got a full respray too.
