quinn-

hey man, depending on how much it would cost. I'd be interested in swapping front ends with you. I've got a 91 S13 silvia. Not entirely sure which parts we need to swap and how much it's going to cost though. I know this subject's been brought up before, pm me if your interested or know of someone who can do the change.

Thanks

Ren :P

parts needed... (thanks gunmetal and cmy513):

http://www.silviansw.com/forum/viewtopi ... conversion

This is for a onevia conversion, i'd imagine the parts needed would be similar for a sil80.

Thanks

Ren

it's pretty much swap the whole front end on both cars.... they are all bolt in as the chassis is the same thing...

only problem u'll have is wiring up the headlights... the 180 front will have to have motors to put the headlights up... but look into it...

i've got a silvia front on my car and its not hard... bolt in.. RTA dont need to know nothing... "u brought it like that" :P hehehe

As previously mention its a pretty straight foward swap, the main problem being the headlight wiring.

going from 180 front end to silvia front is a bit easier in terms of wiring cos you dont need to connect the 5 wires to run the headlight motors.

And if you swap with someone, be nice and give them the relays so the headlights can function as the nissan factory intended.

depends on wat u want.... like u can source the parts out urself...

it's a good opportunity to dress ur car up... widebody front guards, carbon fibre bonnet, front bar, and someone will have some headlights ... eg.. i have silvia head lights ... hehehe :P

just shop around at various jap wreckers for the body panels...or look for wide guards, carbon fibre bonnet, and aftermarket front bar for a wicked looking Sil80
