Hi, We are currently doing a RB26DETT swap in a S14 and have a few questions on the best rear end to use. I have been told that many people in Australia are using the R32 GTR rear end onto the S13 as it's a direct bolt-on, but does it bolt to the S14 as well? How about the 300ZX TT rear end, would that boltup? Your suggestions would be appreciated. Chris Underground Motorsports |

do you want to use the GTR diff? if so,it might be easiest to swap the whole rear across. you get the better driveshafts,brakes,and diff. it will bolt in with minimal if any hassles. the GTR uses an R220,where the silvias use derivatives of the R200. afaik the R220 will bolt into the R200 subframe. I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do,the S14 uses the R200 rear end. As for the subframes, the 32 subframe will bolt into the S14 or S15 rear with some custom diff mounting bushes (the bolt holes need to be offset a couple of mm). The best subframe is the S15, this is a direect boltin into the S14. |
