Hello, really hoping I will be able to get some help. I used to own a sr20det and loved it but could not afford to keep it, so I am now in the middle of a project which at the minute still hasn't cost me much money. I am tring to put a sr20 in a e30 bmw! I have fitted the engine and the full wiring harness. The problem is I am starting the car and it will not rev or idle properly, if I disconnect the afm it idles fine but will not rev over 2500, I am guessing it is the afm causing the problem but just wanted some confirmation. Also, can anyone tell me the colour of the wires going to the fuel pump(from a 97 car) Cheers, Rob. |

First off just confirm that the afm is getting 12V before replacing it. If you didn't get the engine, wiring and afm out of the same half cut you may have the incorrect afm as well no idea on the pump power wire colour. pin 18 is the one you want if you have a pin out diagram (assuming s14). It's just a trigger for a relay though |
