Hi everyone,

Thought i post some images of Nice (France) during sunset. Pictures taken quite recently.. Been pretty quite in this offtopic area so thought i post up pics.. get some talk happening lol.. Im no professional and far from it.

The images were taken at the top of the look out point which overlooks the old city of Nice. It use to be a fort many years ago. Oh and no tripod used.. Just put it on friends back, or on top of bins, on the side rails etc.. wish i brought a tripod along with me.. ahh well next time..

Hope you like the images.. Sorry looks soft after resize when uploading to photobucket :(

1. Plane trails. If you look closely you can see the windows of the planes.

Thanks ronin :)

ZEi250t - Yup very popular. Saw atleast 5 different ones!!

I was away for 2months and a bit and didnt feel like taking my tripod (which i now regret).. Then thought ah i will just buy one there.. But it wasnt cheaper even though some major brands are made in europe (esp italy)..

But i got around it... Putting it on top of things.. side rails.. handheld even for long exposures lol.. etc etc.. was fun in a way!!

just remember if your lens has IS then turn it off while its on a tripod.

True that..

My new sigma lens doesn't have IS so don't have to worry about it..

I have tried and explained to people to turn IS off, but they still don't understand.. Im like.. hmm you will learn when you take the photos and come back explaining what went wrong!! hahah

Anyways this forum needs a photography section!!

Dont you agree?
