Did u guys get the same problem whereby the side indicators next to the steering wheel has faded? How did u go about solving the problem economically without changing it?

you mean the indicator stalk? and the wiper/washer stalk too?

i had to scrub the faded stuff off it. it will scratch off with ta fingernail. I cant remember what i used, maybe it was metho. dont use anything too harsh as it might take off the lettering

yup, both the indicators. Do u mean that the faded whitish stuff can be scratched off? Wouldn't it discolour it further? It seems like the it's fading off including the lettering. Could it be some sort of algae? Have you tried using any cleaning solution before to get it off? Thanks again.

There was a another thread on this somewhere..
But anyway, since I cant find it, I have had 3 S13's so far and they have all had the same problem as you have described.
Get yourself some meguires interior protectant (No armour all will not do it) Then give the indicators two really good soakings with 24hrs before the second coat, and your problem will be solved...
