Can anyone recommend somebody who can collect used motor oil in the Liverpool area?

Got about 50 Litres.

most councils will accept it at the local disposal or waste facility. take a rates notice or drivers licence to prove where you live. well, ryde council do that for me.

I need to know too! It's a waste of time & money going to the tip every time I need to get rid of it.

Although, after it comes out of my 180/Silvia/whatever sports car I have.. it goes into my Daily driver.. and usually... that gets burnt up so quickly I don't have alot left! lol

I'm happy to offer this service to other people! lol.

Why the fuck would you have 50L of oil sitting in the garage?

hehe, even tho ur not supposed to throw oil in the bin...save up milk containers, 25 milk containers = all the oil gone :D

I've done it for 12 years and just chucked it in the old oil containers. Never been a problem.

Where's it say you're not supposed to chuck it anyway?

It's for my brother, he is a mechanic so he has lots of it..

I imagine the fine for organisations dumping oil is quite hefty, not worth the risk.

Thanks Keven let me know, we will need a regular pick up so if you could find the details that would be tops.

Do they make you pay? Back in Adelaide it was $2 a bottle of oil. I had about 10 bottles I wanted to throw away so it was $20. So I said fk that mate, I'm trying to do the right thing instead of throwing it in the bin and the stupid council is making me pay too? They should be paying ME!
