Dear all,

Recently welll last night I was involved in a car accident and I damaged the right front rim. Also, the control arm or where the front right of the rim is bent. Do anyone know how much I may be looking at getting it bend back into shape or what parts I may need? Taking it to the panel beater tomorrow and I pray to god that it doesnt cost me that much. My steering is completeley fucked as well.........

Regarding the rim there is a place called 'Morton and May' I think, they are located at the Eltoro Estate in Liverpool. They do good jobs judging from rims I've seen repaired but it oes cost.

The important question is, did you overcome the Evo before the accident? :P

Magman apparently fixes wheels. As does Neale Wheels. I used the latter to fix mine, excellent quality work.

Unfortunately no. This is another minor setback to my plans....... If I was able to overcome an evo in the process I would have said that it was worth every cent. It was bad because my girl was with me at the time and to be honest initally I was like 'my car' than i said to her are u ok?. She kind of got the shits and I dont blame her......... :D

got the extent of the damage. The suspension, lower control arms, and the bar that connects the front needs to be all replaced. The rims and tyres are damaged too. Total costs with labour and parts not including tyres and rims $1750!!!!!

"Lower control arms", damn, you must've done a good job mate. Just sounds like control arm and radius rod, wheel/tyre? You shouldn't be paying so much. What suspension do you have?

$1750, if only your valentines effort would pay you back now!

At least they gave me a toyota camry which I have been punishing the hell out of......... It just allowed me to appreciate how good silvia was and cant wait to make it better and stronger than before!!! The stupid damn toyota stopped in the top of the hill outside the exit of the carpark. Thank god it started again dont know what I would have done if it didnt. Probabaly get abused by the other drivers who wanted to get out!!!! :D

Do not do that with a car with bad wheel alignment, i learnt the hard way.
