that has made my day. so much of it is true as well.

my favourite part has to be the gaijin superpowers section. I used the optic blast, the gaijin perimeter, and the gaijin smash on many occasions when I was over there.
my ex girlfriend was awesome at it. we were walking through iwakuni one day when we were accosted by japanese mormons. I found the whole thing amusing really, but she sure as hell didn't. I politely fobbed them off,but when they didn't get the hint after about 30seconds (well within my patience threshold at the time btw) she's lunged at the female mormon and screamed at the top of her lungs for her to f**k off and stop bothering us. the woman didn't just walk away, she ran halfway down the block and hid around the corner. I felt sorry for her actually, she's probably in therapy still to this day... keeps having flashbacks of the little black woman who tried to kill her on the street on a sunny saturday afternoon.

further to the gaijin smash thing,I now have mental image of it,that I can't stop laughing about. everytime I come across a part of this editorial where Jeff mentions wanting to use it,I suddenly picture Ken from street fighter II doing the big power uppercut thing, with the accompaning 'GAIJIN SMASH!!!!' scream, and bolts of lightning and so forth....

sorry if that sounds silly, but I just had to share it.
