ok i just figured out how it works,
the symbols next to the numbers keep changing every click, maybe i added wrong before :S

It is a simple math trick. The only time it won't display the right symbol is when you've messed up the math :lol:

Hint, the answer will always be a multiple of 9 :P

ah hah..

Was wondering why each time it could use a different symbol but still be right. Then i noticed that the symbols in the table change as well..

Very smart idea to help add to the illusion. :D

Very smart indeed... took me a while to work out the maths behind it.. but only because Brenton gave the clue :wink:
