I found this post on an "un-named" commodore forum....

"i tell ya what shit's me, sitting at the traffic light's, and you get a little boy pull up in his realy cool turbo nissan skyeline or 1800sx (or is it zx, realy dont care to know) and they sit there and simply rev the crap out of the car so the blow off valve will do that pissy little psssssh sound they do. so you say, ok, let's go for a run, what they fail to realize is this, ofcourse they are gonna whoup my arse, think about, a 2.2l tubocharged car up against a standard run of the mill 3.8l v6, well, mine is heavier, their's is lighter, but hey, i dont wanna drive any turbo charged car's. i like the aussie car's, strong, and to me are the next best thing to sliced bread. my current project is doing a conversion on a vn, putting vs v8 running gear into a vn. well, i can say that the car the v8 was in would whip some car's of the line, (nissans and those stupid wrx's) and that car weighed a ton, im gonna bruise some serious ego's when im done, serious work getting done to engine. but im hearing you there, little boy's with realy small willies driving mummy's toyota corolla with muffer's missing so it sounds louder and those bloody 3inch tip's. what also shit's me is they alway's seem to put little light's everywhere over the car. get a real car, commodore, you can do work to a commodore motor, with those peices of %$*& nissans, they come out like that, hence you dont get all the fun of knowing you did yoru car up and made it work harder. screw them,"

You just gotta laugh.

yup, he was whipped once too many times in a drag!!

he thinks you cant work a nissan motor? holy shit! i suppose all the development in japan to make a RB26 put out 1000hp is probably lies. plus the support and parts available for an SR20 are not true either

whats this guy smoking??? maybe he should stop....... and the buy a nissan!

well,he idolises the VN commodore, and thinks one with a worked V8 is going to destroy skylines and silvias.
he's definitely got a few bolts missing up top.

So what he's saying is that Nissan motors come from the factory well set up and engineered to make good power, whereas with Holdens you have to spend time and effort fixing all the manufacturing and design faults with them?

Someone had better tell that guy that its not something to brag about.
