Actually it doesn't take very long of cost a whole lot. From what I saw there, they were using radio gear that you can get in any model shop (you could get a similar set for <200). The brakes and steering were actuated with compressed air rams. The real problem would be changing gears - maybe an auto IS a good thing :o

Wait... Nope :P
