some s13's are more dangerous though, with 250kw+ at the wheels and standard brakes, driver talking about drifting.

this toyota dont have much go, chances of him mowing down others while so-called drifting is slim. mototcyclists on old road wont be scared of him.

ive heard toyotas are hard to kill....

LOL, true but thats disgraceful :-?

They did a test here in the uk on Top Gear, on one of those 4x4 toyota Hilux?? trucks to see if they were invincible, they had a mechanic with a minimal set of tools and he wasnt allowed to swap out any parts of it for new ones... Can't remember all of what they did but heres a list of the ones i do.

Went Crashing it into things
Dropped a carvan on top of it
Left it out in the sea
Set fire to it
Demolished a building with the toyota ontop

Check out the Real Player video extracts from the BBC (15 minutes of them trying to destroy it)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/prog28/hilux_broadband.ram

Pardon his awful choice of hair cut too, it is by no means representivie of the UK. Also the pikey village they demolish the building in. Scum of the UK :-?

Martin :)

yeah i remember that one. it was a ford escort. half black and half white. stuck together with liquid nails and very few spot welds. what a shonky job! doors wouldnt even close properly.
the guy ended up with a beast of a car in the end. nice new black beast. forgot what kind though..
pimped out to the max. those guys do some serious shit to the rides thats for sure. i wonder what would happen if that shit happened here? imagine a silvia sitting on 26" bling blings? hehe.

at least the ke70 is still running at 20 years of age. I'm willing to bet it's on all original underpinnings and mechanicals as well.
toyotas on the whole may be pretty boring, but you will find it pretty hard short of deliberate measures to destroy them. god knows i've seen people try in the past.
