When he jumps the first one you can see a hole in his shadow as he walks around. this is where a box was, but they cut and snipped the film. The hit was a dummy.

yeah watching it again you can see he jumps right onto the box-the car is actually no where near him it goes to the side of the box-so pretty easy to do once you grey out the box-that dummy was implemented very well though
