Quick rant.....

I have no sender unit in my fuel tank so my gauge doesn't work. :x
So i know i'm right near empty cause i've done heaps of driving in the past week.

I go to my usual servo for a fill up of Optimax...none left.I try the next nearest..none left either.I try another one...same story. :x

I ended up havong to settle for 96 RON Vortex. :evil:

Has anyone else experienced a shortage of Optimax yesterday and today?

Do you reckon it's everywhere? The pump i filled up at didn't specify what RON it was...it just said Vortex.

I went to get Optimax for Dyno night but they were out then.
I since read something that there is a major shortage of 98 RON fuel in sydney, so it may be a while before anyone can find 98 RON.

I actually first noticed it on Saturday too when i went to put $20 before the Dyno Night.I ended up getting some out near Ryde.

That's strange that there is a shortage of 98 RON across the board.Surely one company doesn't supply all the petrol companies and then they just label it as their own fuel?

I'm not registered at NSCC.Do they mention other fuels like ULTIMATE and SYNERGY?
