hey, heres the story, so i was removing my coilpacks to change my spark plugs and i snapped the screw that screws in the coilpack, snapped 2 of them the other 2 are fine, i have plugged them all back in tightly as it can go, car starts fine drove it around the block changing gears at 2500rpm now my dilemma is, will i be able to drive the car to work as is without those 2 screws on the coilpacks? i know i shouldnt be thrashing, might have to granny shift it all the way if i did drive it, but it will be fixed on thurs or fri, wanted to ask if its ok to drive to work for tomorrow without it well... popping out i guess... Cheers guys! |

I did that too. I haven't bothered fixing it. Just wedge something in between so the coilpack can't jump up when you go over a bump or something. I just put a rubber hose on the coilpack so it pushes it down when the coilpack cover goes on. |
