Post subject:  What diff oil for Nismo 2 way lsd

Heya,

I just bough a nismo 2 way, need to know what oil to use for it, castrol shit or some other? Any particular weight? Also it looks like I cant get a gasket for it anymore, would silicon liquid gasket be ok?

Cheers

Silicon for the back cover seal is fine.

I used the genuine nismo oil for a few thousand km,before switching to Motul 300V. Was less clunky with the motul oil.

Sweet thanks, yeah I ended up getting the penrite stuff in 80w140 full synthetic, installed it last night, pretty quiet stuff, now to wait for a rainy day for field testing :)

cool, ive only used the penrite stuff in my honda.

does it say its ok to use in clutch type LSDs? i think my kaaz said to use mineral oil only when i got it, so im considering whether to use it in my next change.
