wat do u guys think of this turbo i freaked out when it flow tested 550hp i even freaked out the guys at GCG they said i couldnt machine out the housing that much when i gave them the spec's i wanted and they still pulled it off for me this turbo is now bolted onto a 1.3 GTi and it spools up at 4000rpm so picture wat it would do on a CA or SR i got a custom built turbo its a full 100% bolt on turbo biger then the HKS GTRS and GT2540R it started off as T28BB then sent it away to GCG all the housings are T28 just been machined out compressor housing =A/R 60 the wheel trim is a =58mm exhaust housing is =.64 wheel trim =54mm as u can see from the photos the internals of this turbo are alot biger then any other bolt on turbo out there & it still has the paint on the compressor wheel from when it was balanced still in very new condition this is the compressor map & balance graph from when it was flow tested & balanced [/b] i know the photos are pretty crap but i only had my phone on me to take the photos |

keep in mind a 1.3L Gti runs a much higher compression which helps with spool up... i remember people running t25's on turbo Gti's, and they had similar response to what my SR has with its t25 by 4000rpm, do you mean thats when it starts making positive manifold pressure ? whats that pic on the right of the compressor map ? either way, with max efficiency at 40-60lb/min its alway going to be a laggy mofo |

but the motor has been rebuilt now has lower compression 4000rpm would be peak boost open wastegate the other pic is when it was balanced |

a normal high flow will cost u about $300 to $500 it costed me $1500 to get it high flowed to them specs the side of that wheel is watt cost the most because it had to be the size i wanted and still fit in the T28BB core |

holy smokes.. what boost is the gti running? 20-22? lol would that turbo be better or an actual 550hp item ? if its been machined out to 550hp, does that mean it wont last as long as an actual already made turbo around the same hp output or it wont make any difference and still last the same period of time? |

str8e180 how much power is ur car putting out on wat psi ? as im plannin on goin gt3040 with a .84 housing , depending how much more lag the 1.04 housing makes |

he turbo will last the same period of time as any 550hp but with biger housings it could make more power the compressor housing is maxed out and how flow any more air 248rwkw's 19psi stock internals 266rwkw's on 22psi not SAFE! (stock bottom end) only made this power once neva had it on 22psi eva again |

lol stock bottom end my left nut kryptic LOL if you are taling about suspension, yes. if your talking about internals, no. but yes they **can** be strong, JMS put out over 300rwkw with their stock internal'd "project pink bits" strawberry pink dorifto s13 and it held up nice for a while, until it blew, but it wasnt a problem with the internals was something else i 4got - so denzo wound the boost as high as it would go and kaboooooooooooooom. too lazy to post internet link but they have video of flames shooting out the exhuast when it happens |

BLISTC, denzos project pink bits pistons blew, had a hole in it but yes his car is running stock internals and it did held up for quite awhile until the piston couldnt take it anymore. the link you're referring to is http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/pinkbits.htm 248rwkw @ 19psi with stock internals in the swift?or is this in your car? ill be pretty happy with 248rwkw, enough to much street cars *cough BLISTC lol jokes.. how much does your car pull out BLISTC? |
