Depends on your alarm i think.

I have a Brent system and I wanted to get a turbo timer hooked up. Tried about 3 different auto electritions and they all said they didn't know how to do it. Eventually I called Brent in person, and they said there was "No way it could be done, but our technitions are working on it".

So unless someone has figured a way to do it, I don't think it can be done for a Brent system :(

dude,
if your immobiliser comes on after the timer is finished cooling the car down, can you still use the keyless entry to lock the car and then walk away and the car would be locked whilst the timers running? and then it would immobilise itself once the timer is finished?

tell me if this is the case, if so which kind of alarm do you have?

thanx dude.

Brant used to have the turbo timer built into there alarms but since it has become "illegal" to have a turbo timer they do not do it anymore. Illegal because u are not supposed to leave car running unattended. But if it was fitted properly with an alarm, u can lock the car keyless just like normal, the alarm however would not turn on until engine turned off. Hope this was helpful :D

Must depend on the alarm, I have a Viper 550 ESP alarm in my S15 with a greddy turbo timer and when I arm it with the 'timer running the windows wind up, interior light goes out and it chirps to confirm it is armed.

I have no idea what alarm i have, i think it might be a Vision one but it works perfectly with the turbo timer.

I am able to arm the car with the remote while it is counting down and once the turbo timer switches the car off it is immobilised.

Had bit of a poke under the dash and it looks like a few relays and other misc bits are involved in getting it to work like that but im not sure.
